A Canadian elevator company, a travel business platform, and a filter business bought domain names.
Sedo has always been the strongest marketplace for country code top level domain names. This week’s end user sales list brings this home; it includes transactions for .fr, .eu, .se, .it and .cn.
There are a handful of five-figure sales that I can’t tie to an end user yet but were likely bought by people who plan to develop them. For now, here’s what I found. (You can view previous lists like this here.)
Easol.com £15,000 – This European software company was previously known as “Fixers” but recently rebranded. It provides a platform for running a travel or experience-based business.
PharmacistOnDemand .com $10,000 – The Scc Group, a company in the healthcare business, bought this domain.
Tamps.com $6,800 – Forwards to a section of financial media site TheWealthAdvisor.com that is headlined “TAMPs.” This is a financial term for “turnkey asset management program,” which allows independent financial advisors to outsource the management of some or all of their clients’ assets.
Healthy.fr €6,000 – A French health-related website is in development for this domain.
MosaicOne.com $5,799 – Mad Elevator, Inc. bought this domain. This Canadian elevator company offers MoscaicOne, an application for managing connected elevators.
FilterFlow.com $5,000 – The Italian company Filterflo bought this domain. It manufactures and distributes cards and card filter layers intended for filtering wine, olive oil, and other foodstuffs. It currently uses FilterFlo.net. This is a great upgrade.
ConnecToo.com $5,000 – This domain forwards to Jaber.international. Jaber International Group is a group of international companies headquartered in Dortmund, Germany. I suspect this is the name of one of its companies.
AlternativeAddiction.com $5,000 – A company called Upfront bought this domain. It might have been a website purchase; it was an active website focused on alternative music newsmakers.
Left.eu €3,999 – Forwards to Guengl.eu, an information portal for the political activist group, European United Left/ Nordic Green Left. It’s a left-wing group of MEPs (Member of the European Parliament).
Soffa.se €3,000 – A Swedish e-commerce site for purchasing sofas. The term is Swedish for couch.
4um.it €3,000 – Despar Servizi, an Italian supermarket chain, bought this domain name. I’m not sure what the domain is for.
Kill24.com $2,500 – Forwards to Kill24.de, an online retailer that sells pest control products to pest companies.
Hemmerle.cn €2,500 – Forwards to Hemmerle.com, a fourth-generation family-run jewelry design company.
IntegrationWorx.com £2,023 – Integrationworx is a data integration and data analysis company servicing various businesses in North America.
Fönster.se €2,000 – The site sells windows. The term is Swedish for window.
