Domain sellers can now close sales for 4.5% using Squadhelp’s BYOL option.
Domain name marketplace Squadhelp has added a new low-cost option for people who want to complete domain name transactions on the platform that originate elsewhere.
The “bring your own lead” (BYOL) service enables you to close a transaction initiated elsewhere using Squadhelp’s service for a 4.5% fee. This is less than the 7.5% fee Squadhelp charges for basic listing sales. It’s similar to a service Dan.com offers for a 5% commission.
Using Squadhelp or Dan.com for a sale you make elsewhere might make it easier to close a transaction than using an escrow service while still providing security. It makes the most sense on lower-priced domains; Escrow.com will be cheaper for higher-ticket domains.
